Automated External Defibrillation Training
AED
Students learn how an AED works, when to use it and how to maintain it. Provides vital information for workplace response teams, lifeguards, police officers and firefighters. All participants receive a Red Cross AED program manual and a Certification Card. Time required for AED training is reduced when taught as component of First Aid and CPR courses (see below).

CPR/AED
Students learn to quickly and confidently provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations. All participants receive a Red Cross Basic Life Support CPR/AED Skills Card and Certification Card upon completion. Re-certification is every three years

Emergency First Aid/AED
Students learn emergency first aid skills and receive instruction in the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a cardiac arrest. National Red Cross Certification: 3 years for EFA; 1 year for AED. Meets Occupational Health and Safety Code requirements.

Standard First Aid/AED
Students learn standard first aid skills and receive instruction in the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a cardiac arrest. National Red Cross Certification: 3 years for SFA; 1 year for AED. Meets Occupational Health and Safety Code requirements.

Training Service Policies
- MediStat's fees are based on the number of participants in a course; the company does not charge flat rates unless it is part of a special package.
- Additional students may be added to any class until the maximum number of students for such a class is reached. The addition of students, addition of classes, or rescheduling, modification or cancellation of any class requires the prior approval of MediStat.
- When paying by course participant, the minimum requirement for each type of course is as follows: SFA (6), EFA (4), CPR (4), AED (4), PeopleSavers (5) Babysitting (6). MediStat requires 72-hour notice if the minimum number cannot be met and the course may need to be cancelled and/or rescheduled.
- Customer agrees to pay 50% of the class minimum billing amount or $100.00 (whichever is higher) for any training class cancelled with less than 48-hour notice. Cancellation Fees will be billed separately.
