First Aid Training

Emergency First Aid

Students learn basic lifesaving first aid skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as well as treatment for choking and severe bleeding. Also covers strokes, heart attacks, basic AED training and preventing disease transmission. Ideal for workplace settings. National Red Cross Certification: 3 years. Meets Occupational Health and Safety Code requirements.

Standard First Aid

Incorporates all of the skills taught in Emergency First Aid, and adds casualty care skills, such as treatment of broken bones, burns, cuts, and head and spinal injuries, etc. National Red Cross Certification: 3 years. Meets Occupational Health and Safety Code requirements.

Price: $110 per person

Child Care Standard First Aid

A Red Cross course designed for child care workers. Students learn everything in Standard First Aid as well as treatment for common childhood emergencies and illnesses, etc.

Training Service Policies

• MediStat's fees are based on the number of participants in a course; the company does not charge flat rates unless it is part of a special package.
• Additional students may be added to any class until the maximum number of students for such a class is reached. The addition of students, addition of classes, or rescheduling, modification or cancellation of any class requires the prior approval of MediStat.
• When paying by course participant, the minimum requirement for each type of course is as follows: SFA (6), EFA (6), CPR (6), PeopleSavers (6) Babysitting (6). MediStat requires 72-hour notice if the minimum number cannot be met and the course may need to be cancelled and/or rescheduled.
• Customer agrees to pay 50% of the class minimum billing amount or $100.00 (whichever is higher) for any training class cancelled with less than 72-hour notice. Cancellation Fees will be billed separately.
