As an authorized provider of the Canadian Red Cross, MediStat delivers consistent, high quality training that incorporates the latest injury prevention information and advances in first aid. Our certified, professional educators are able to help students develop their skills, gain confidence and be prepared for an emergency.
- It is standard practice in Red Cross courses for students to be tested through both written and hands-on practical demonstrations to ensure they have learned the skills required. Video-based instruction (which other training services use) leads to poor retention.
- At the completion of each course, students evaluate the material, trainer, and their own perceived ability to perform in an emergency. The evaluations are sent to the Canadian Red Cross for its own quality assurance program.
- Our instructors always receive high marks on course evaluations, with a typical rating of "excellent." The ratings for each educator are part of their quarterly performance review.
- We help our educators obtain additional training to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge of emergency medicine.
