Health and Wellness Coaching and Workshops

A wellness coach works with clients to encourage them to look at and make changes to those aspects of their lives that are unhealthy, this could include changing dietary habits, getting more exercise,  stress reduction, quitting smoking, to name a few. However, a good coach won’t simply tell people they have to start reducing harmful habits or engaging in new more healthy behaviors. They’ll work with a client to figure out how factors in their present life contributes to those behaviors, and explore what can be done to change these behaviors resulting in change is that easier and has long lasting results.

 Often times we have found our clients are overweight, stressed, or indulging in unhealthy behaviors like not exercising, working long unfulfilling hours, smoking and/or excessive alcohol and drug use. Attending a workshop on the cost of certain behavior can illicit change, but receiving coaching from an expert, statistically results in more long term lifestyle changes. At MediStat our certified wellness coach help people to find ways to increase their overall health, increase energy and vitality all by pursuing a healthier lifestyle that is congruent with their specific goals and desired outcomes.
